Alisha Abdullah started racing at the age of 8. Over 24 years she has competed in both bikes and cars — always against men — and repeatedly stood on the podium. She is India’s first female national racing champion, the first Asian woman to win the Volkswagen Racing Cup, and the first woman in racing to receive an award from the President of India.
She was the first woman to introduce all-women bike racing in India. Sponsored by leading brands including TVS Motor Company, GRT Group of Hotels and Bisleri, she is now returning to competition after a 3-year break. Her 2026 plan: MRF National Car Championship and international races.
